  1. When the Extra Legroom seat is made by agency channel~

    How much does Extra-Legroom Seat cost?
    Automated price based on ATPCO filing with all applicable service taxes is available. (Please refer P.3 ‘applicable routes & price’)

    Any commission to travel agency?
    Extra Legroom Seat is NON-COMMISSABLE.

    Are Extra-Legroom Seats transferable to other passengers?
    Extra Legroom Seat is NON-TRANSFERRABLE.

    Could I void the BSP EMD-A for Extra-Legroom Seat?
    Alike ETKT, only the issuing office can void BSP EMD-A on the same calendar day of issuance and before closure of sales. And the Extra Legroom Seat must be removed from the customer record right after the BSP EMD-A is voided.

    How to compute the ‘Ancillary Service Time Limit’?
    The service time limit will be 24-hours after the service is reserved or 1-hour prior to departure, whichever is earlier. And it is subject to change without prior notice.

    My customer has purchased Extra-Legroom Seat for his outbound journey. Can he use it for the inbound journey instead?
    The BSP EMD-A must have the same route as the associated ETKT. Reroute is not allowed

    My customer has purchased Extra-Legroom Seat for HKG-PVG on Cathay Pacific. He wishes to change to a HKG-PVG flight on Cathay Dragon instead. Can he transfer the BSP EMD-A from the Cathay Pacific flight to Cathay Dragon flight?
    The BSP EMD-A must have the same carrier as the associated ETKT. If your customer would like to change from a CX to KA flight please exchange/reissue the BSP EMD-A and re-associate it with ETKT.

    My customer would like to change from an Extra Legroom Seat to another Extra Legroom Seat, how should I proceed?
    Whenever the seat is available, you can proceed the seat change in their agency system without the need of exchange/reissue BSP EMD-A.

    My customer has purchased Extra-Legroom Seat for both his outbound and inbound flights, issued on the same ETKT and BSP EMD-A. Later on, he changed his inbound flight and partial reissue ETKT. In this case, should I reissue the BSP EMD-A as well?
    Currently we do not support a single BSP EMD-A to be associated with multiple ETKTs, you will be required to re-issue the BSP EMD-A and re-associate it to the new ETKT.
    Notes: we are currently working on system enhancement to enable multiple ETKT associations on a single BSP EMD-A. You will be notified once this feature is enabled.

    My customer has purchased an Extra-Legroom Seat on 22Dec17 for CX101/15Jan18 HKG/SYD S class. Now the customer rebooks CX101/18Feb18 HKG/SYD S class on 02Jan2018 and keeps the Extra Legroom Seat. Should I collect the difference of Extra Legroom Seat ?
    No. Please reissue the BSP EMD-A for the new travel date.

    My customer has purchased a Q class ticket and Extra-Legroom Seat. Somehow, my customer has upsell to V class and remain his/her original Extra-Legroom Seat. Can my customer get back the difference of Extra-Legroom Seat between Q & V class?
    Passenger needs to pay Extra-Legroom seat of V class and apply full refund the original EMD-A of Extra-Legroom Seat charge under Q class.

    My customer bought an Extra-Legroom Seat and then request to change a chargeable “Regular Seat”. Is there any refund?
    In any circumstance, there is no refund when passenger forfeits the Extra-Legroom Seat.

    Does the passenger get a refund when the current seat charge is lower than the time of the seat purchased? Does the passenger need to pay the difference when the current seat charge is higher than the time of the seat purchased?
    While Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon reserve the right to adjust the amount of the Fee at any time without notice, the Fee is based on the time of the original request. Therefore, we will only grant a refund in the amount originally charged at the time of the ‘Reserve your seat’ purchase, and subject to our usual refund conditions. The difference of the seat charge is not applicable as the amount is charged based on the time of the ‘Reserve your seat’ purchase.


  2. When the Extra Legroom seat is booked on Manage Booking ~

    If passenger bought an Extra-Legroom seat on CX.com Manage Booking, is agent allowed to modify or make subsequence change for customer?
    NO, agent could not modify his seat through agent’s system.
    Passenger can change to another Extra-legroom seat in Manage Booking within same flight (subject to availability).
    If the change involves flight/date change, please contact Cathay Pacific /Cathay Dragon local sales reservations for Extra- legroom seat rearrangement. (Flight /date change is subject to fare rules)
